Profile for inclusion with election papers

By decision of the Governing Authority, candidates for election are invited to
submit a personal profile, not exceeding 40 words, which will be circulated with the
election literature. I have submitted the following:

"Postgraduate researcher in politics, specializing in civic education and
social exclusion; Daniel advocates the extension of college outreach
programs, an equality-based agenda, a governing authority more responsive to
students and staff, and protection of the university's independent role in
society."
